Who can use FunChatX
FunChatX is intended for users aged 18 and over. By using the site, you're confirming that you meet this requirement. We don't knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use the service, and accounts or sessions found to belong to a minor are removed on discovery.
Conduct policy
Every channel operates under the same baseline rules, regardless of topic:
- No sexual content involving minors, under any circumstance — this is reported and escalated immediately, with no exceptions.
- No nudity, sexually explicit content, or soliciting sexual acts from another user. FunChatX is a conversation platform, not a dating or adult service.
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or targeted abuse.
- No soliciting or sharing personal contact information from a minor, or attempting to move a conversation with a minor off-platform.
- No sharing of illegal content, or content that facilitates self-harm, exploitation, or violence.
- No impersonation of another real person, and no attempts to defraud or scam the person you're matched with.
- No spam, bots, or automated scripts posing as a human conversational partner.
Violating these rules can result in an immediate disconnect, a suspension, or a permanent block from the service, depending on severity.
24/7 AI-based moderation
FunChatX runs automated moderation on every chat, around the clock, with no downtime. Messages are screened as they're sent, and content that matches known patterns for harassment, sexual content involving minors, nudity, exploitation, or other conduct-policy violations is flagged automatically — in serious cases, the conversation is ended immediately and escalated for human review before it can continue. This runs continuously in the background, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and doesn't depend on either participant reporting anything themselves.
FunChatX has a zero-tolerance policy for sexually explicit content, nudity, and any content involving minors. Automated moderation is tuned to catch this category of violation first and fastest, ahead of general conduct issues. FunChatX is a conversation platform, not a dating or adult service, and content that violates this policy is removed and the account responsible is blocked.
Automated moderation catches a large share of violations quickly, but it isn't perfect. That's why manual reporting (below) still matters: it catches what the automated system misses and gives a real person the chance to review context an algorithm can't.
Reporting & disconnecting
Every chat window includes a disconnect control and a report control. Disconnecting ends the conversation instantly for both people with no explanation required. Reporting flags the conversation for a moderator to review — you don't need to justify the report, and the other person isn't told who filed it. Reported conversations are reviewed in addition to, not instead of, the automated moderation described above.
If you believe you've witnessed something that may be illegal, report it through the in-chat tool and also contact your local authorities. FunChatX cooperates with law enforcement requests made through proper legal process.
Practical safety tips
- Don't share your full name, address, school, workplace, or financial details with someone you've just met.
- Be skeptical of anyone who pushes to move the conversation to another app immediately — this is a common pattern in scams.
- Trust your instincts. If a conversation feels off, disconnect. You don't owe anyone an explanation.
- Never send money, gift cards, or account credentials to someone you met through random chat.
- Screenshot and report anything that violates the conduct policy above.
Protecting minors
FunChatX is not designed or intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors, and any conversation that reveals a participant is a minor is ended and reported by design. Our automated moderation system is specifically tuned to detect and immediately escalate any sexual content involving minors, with no tolerance and no exceptions. Parents or guardians who believe a minor has accessed the service should contact us through the contact page so we can act on it.
